TPSM560R6RDAR DC‑DC power module

The TPSM560R6RDAR is a fully integrated synchronous step‑down power module manufactured by Texas Instruments, delivered in tape‑and‑reel 15‑pin Enhanced HotRod™ QFN package with compact dimensions of 5.0 mm × 5.5 mm × 4.0 mm. This non‑isolated point‑of‑load converter integrates power MOSFETs, shielded inductor and internal passive components, supporting wide 4.2 V‑60 V input voltage range, adjustable 1 V‑6 V output and maximum 0.6 A continuous output current, and only demands four external passive components for complete power supply implementation.

This integrated power module adopts low‑parasitic HotRod QFN packaging with exposed thermal pad to deliver effective heat dissipation and reduced EMI performance, and it incorporates spread‑spectrum switching function to further suppress electromagnetic interference for easier system compliance. It comes with comprehensive built‑in protections including overcurrent hiccup protection, thermal shutdown, pre‑bias startup capability, programmable under‑voltage lockout and power‑good indicator for reliable system monitoring, while its internal current‑mode control maintains stable operation with tight line and load regulation performance. The device features low shutdown current of 5 µA during disable state, fixed switching frequency ranging from 340 kHz to 460 kHz, and eliminates much discrete component placement burden on PCB boards, allowing engineers to realize high‑voltage step‑down power conversion without extensive power supply expertise.
