The TPS5430MDDAREP is an enhanced product (EP) version of TI's SWIFT™ family of DC/DC regulators, designed as a high-output-current pulse-width modulation (PWM) step-down converter for demanding industrial, aerospace, and defense applications. It integrates a low-resistance high-side N-channel MOSFET, delivering robust performance across a wide input voltage range from 5.5V to 36V, supporting up to 3A continuous (4A peak) output current. The chip operates at a fixed 500kHz switching frequency, enabling compact filter designs, and is housed in a thermally enhanced 8-pin SOIC PowerPAD™ package for efficient heat dissipation.
