The XC6SLX16-L1CSG324I is a high-performance, low-power Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) from AMD (formerly Xilinx) Spartan®-6 LX family, fabricated on advanced 45nm low-power copper process technology. This industrial-grade device features 14,579 logic cells with dual-register 6-input LUT architecture, 576 Kb of block RAM organized as 32×18 Kb blocks, and 32 DSP48A1 slices for high-speed digital signal processing. Housed in a compact 324-pin CSBGA (Chip Scale Ball Grid Array) package, it delivers 232 user I/O pins supporting multi-voltage SelectIO™ technology and operates reliably across an extended industrial temperature range of -40°C to +100°C.

The FPGA vice integrates four Clock Management Tiles (CMTs) combining Digital Clock Managers (DCMs) and Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs) for low-jitter clock synthesis, includes hardened memory controller blocks supporting DDR/DDR2/DDR3 SDRAM interfaces up to 800 Mb/s, and features PCI Express® compatible Endpoint blocks for high-speed connectivity. With comprehensive security features including AES bitstream encryption and unique Device DNA identification, plus power-optimized modes and MicroBlaze™ soft processor support, this FPGA offers an exceptional balance of cost-efficiency, performance, and flexibility for demanding embedded applications.
