AD8624ARUZ-RL Low Power, Precision, Rail-to-Rail Output Quad Op Amp

The AD8624ARUZ-RL is a quad-channel, low-power, precision operational amplifier from Analog Devices' AD8622/AD8624 family, housed in a 14-lead TSSOP (RU-14) package. Designed for applications where DC accuracy, low noise, and power efficiency must coexist, the device operates from ±2.5 V to ±18 V dual supplies (or 5 V to 30 V single supply) and delivers rail-to-rail output swing with unit-gain stability across the full –40 °C to +125 °C extended industrial temperature range. Each amplifier consumes only 215 µA typical (350 µA max over temperature), making the AD8624 well suited for portable precision instrumentation, strain-gauge and thermocouple amplifiers, laser-diode control loops, and medical instrumentation where minimizing error sources is critical.

Per-channel specifications highlight the device's precision pedigree: maximum input offset voltage of 125 µV (10 µV typical), offset drift of 1.2 µV/°C max (0.5 µV/°C typical), input bias current of 200 pA max sustained by an input bias current cancellation circuit, and a low 0.1 Hz–10 Hz noise of 0.2 µV p-p backed by 11 nV/√Hz at 1 kHz. AC performance includes a 560 kHz gain-bandwidth product, 0.48 V/µs slew rate, 135 dB typical CMRR, and >120 dB open-loop gain, with a short-circuit current of ~30 mA and 40 mA output drive per channel.

Alternative quad op-amp Models

● AD8621: Single-channel variant in the same low-power precision family, useful for reference-buffer or single-sensor-path roles where a quad count is unnecessary.

● AD8644: JFET-input quad precision op-amp from ADI with pA-level bias current similar to AD8624 but faster SR (~3 V/µs) and wider supply, suitable when JFET input impedance is preferred over the AD8624's bipolar cancellation scheme.

● OPA4170AIPWR: TI's industrial-grade quad rail-to-rail output op-amp (36 V max supply, 1.2 MHz GBW) offering a cross-vendor alternative to the AD8624ARUZ-RL with comparable offset (1.8 mV max) and TSSOP-14 footprint compatibility.
