AD8307ARZ Monolithic Logarithmic Amplifier IC 

The AD8307ARZ is a high-performance monolithic demodulating logarithmic amplifier from Analog Devices (ADI), adopting progressive compression technology to deliver a 92dB dynamic range with ±3dB law conformance, extending to 88dB with ±1dB error up to 100MHz. It integrates a complete logarithmic amplification system in an 8-lead SOIC narrow package, supporting signal conversion from 20Hz to 500MHz, and features rail-to-rail output for seamless integration with analog and digital systems. Designed for precision signal level measurement, it converts signal amplitude to decibel form, making it ideal for applications requiring accurate detection of weak to strong signals with minimal distortion.

Operating at 2.7V to 5.5V single supply, the AD8307ARZ consumes 8mA typical operating current, with 25μA input bias current and 500μV input offset voltage for high precision. It boasts a 3dB bandwidth of 900MHz, 1.5nV/√Hz input voltage noise density, and operates reliably across -40°C to 85°C industrial temperature range.
