AD8605ARTZ-REEL7 rail-to-rail input/output CMOS operational amplifier

The AD8605ARTZ-REEL7 is a precision, low-noise, rail-to-rail input/output CMOS operational amplifier from Analog Devices. Packaged in a tiny 5-pin SOT-23 and supplied on tape-and-reel, it is built on ADI's patented DigiTrim™ technology for tight offset control without laser trimming, delivering 65 µV max offset, 1 pA max input bias current and only 1 mA supply current per channel. With a 10 MHz gain-bandwidth product and 8 nV/√Hz input noise, the device targets space-constrained, battery-powered products that need true-precision signal conditioning on a single 2.7 V to 5.5 V rail .

AD8605ARTZ-REEL7 Applications

● Photodiode and pyroelectric sensor front-ends where femto-amp bias current preserves signal integrity

● Battery-powered instrumentation, portable medical meters and smart-sensor nodes that demand microwatt quiescent power

● High-order active filters, integrators and sample-and-hold circuits needing micro-volt offset and low noise

● Bar-code scanners, IR receivers and wearables benefiting from rail-to-rail swing on low-voltage rails

● Audio pre-amps, microphone buffers and CODEC I/O stages requiring wide bandwidth and ultra-low THD

Alternative precision op-amps

● OPA342NA/250 (TI) – 1 MHz, 1 V/µs RRIO CMOS op-amp in SOT-23-5, ideal when slightly lower GBW and 150 µA quiescent current are acceptable

● OPA353NA3KG4 (TI) – 44 MHz, 22 V/µs RRIO device for higher-speed 3 V/5 V signal paths while maintaining <0.2 mV offset

● AD8615AUJZ-REEL7 (ADI) – 24 MHz, 12 V/µs, TSOT-23-5 option offering nano-amp bias current for precision integrators

● MCP6031T-E/OT (Microchip) – 2 MHz, 0.9 V/µs auto-zero op-amp that extends offset stability to sub-10 µV for strain-gauge or weigh-scale front-ends
