ADG508AKRZ CMOS analog multiplexer

The ADG508AKRZ is an 8-channel CMOS analog multiplexer designed by Analog Devices (ADI) for high-precision signal routing in industrial and instrumentation applications. Built on an enhanced LC²MOS process, it supports a wide single/dual-supply voltage range of 10.8V to 16.5V, enabling flexible power integration.

The analog chip features a 300Ω (max) on-resistance with ±15Ω channel-to-channel matching, ensuring minimal signal distortion and stable operation across all channels. Its break-before-make switching mechanism prevents short circuits during transitions, while ultra-low leakage current (20pA typical) makes it ideal for high-impedance circuits. The ADG508AKRZ operates over an extended temperature range (-40°C to +85°C) and comes in a compact 16-pin SOIC package, supporting surface-mount assembly for space-constrained designs.

ADG508AKRZ analog multiplexer Applications

● Industrial Automation: Signal routing in PLCs, sensor interfaces, and data acquisition systems.

● Medical Instrumentation: Precision multiplexing in ECG machines, ultrasound scanners, and patient monitors.

● Test & Measurement: Switching matrices for multimeters, oscilloscopes, and automated test equipment (ATE).

● Battery Management: Channel selection in high-voltage battery monitoring systems (e.g., 48V Li-ion packs).

● Communication Systems: RF signal routing in transceivers and antenna switches.

Alternative CMOS signal switch models
