The ADM7172ACPZ-1.8-R7 is a high-performance CMOS low dropout (LDO) linear regulator from Analog Devices (ADI), designed for noise-sensitive analog and mixed-signal applications requiring stable, precise power supply. It features a fixed 1.8V output voltage, delivers up to 2A continuous output current, and operates from a 2.3V to 6.5V wide input voltage range, making it versatile for various power systems. Built with an advanced proprietary architecture, it offers ultra-low output noise (5µV rms from 100Hz to 100kHz) and high power supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of 60dB at 100kHz, effectively suppressing power noise coupling. Equipped with adjustable soft start to control inrush current and precision enable function, it ensures smooth startup and reliable operation, ideal for space-constrained, high-current low-noise applications.

Operating reliably across -40°C to 125°C industrial temperature range, the ADM7172ACPZ-1.8-R7 has a low dropout voltage of 172mV at 2A load (3V output) and maximum 270mV dropout, ensuring efficient power conversion.
