ADV7123KSTZ140 Triple 10-Bit High-Speed Video DAC

The ADV7123KSTZ140 is a high-performance, monolithic triple 10-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) manufactured by Analog Devices (ADI), designed for high-speed video and graphics applications. Housed in a compact 48-LQFP surface-mount package, it delivers a maximum conversion rate of 140 MSPS (with a 330 MSPS throughput capability), supporting high-resolution video standards. Operating from a single 3.3 V or 5 V power supply, it integrates three independent 10-bit DACs with complementary current outputs, a TTL-compatible parallel input interface, and an internal 1.235 V voltage reference.

ADI video DAC Key Features & Application Scenarios

This video DAC offers exceptional performance with SFDR (Spurious-Free Dynamic Range) of -70 dB at 50 MHz clock and -53 dB at 140 MHz clock, ensuring high-fidelity analog output. It supports RS-343A/RS-170 video standards and provides a wide output current range of 2.0 mA to 26.5 mA, enabling flexible signal termination. Featuring low power consumption (30 mW typical at 3.3 V) and a power-save mode (6 mW standby), it is optimized for both performance and efficiency. Core applications include video graphics cards, industrial display controllers, medical imaging systems, video surveillance equipment, set-top boxes, and legacy video interface modules, where high-speed, high-resolution analog video output is required.
