The MAX232ACSE+T is a dual-channel RS-232 transceiver, specifically engineered to facilitate bidirectional serial communication between devices with TTL/CMOS logic levels and those using standard RS-232 voltage levels. It operates from a single +5V power supply and utilizes an internal charge-pump voltage doubler and inverter to generate the required ±7.5V to ±10V RS-232 voltage swings from this single rail, eliminating the need for external ±12V supplies.
