The WM8960CGEFL/V is a low-power, high-quality stereo audio CODEC from Cirrus Logic, designed specifically for portable digital audio applications. It integrates stereo 24-bit sigma-delta ADCs and DACs, stereo Class D speaker drivers capable of delivering 1W per channel into 8Ω loads, and an on-chip headphone driver. The device operates from analog supplies down to 2.7V and digital supplies as low as 1.71V, with the speaker supply supporting up to 5.5V for higher output power. An on-chip PLL provides flexible clocking, supporting sample rates from 8kHz to 48kHz, while advanced digital signal processing includes automatic level control (ALC), limiter, and noise gate for microphone and line inputs.
