The FM28V020-SGTR is a high-performance 2-Mbit (256K × 8) non-volatile Ferroelectric RAM (FRAM) that combines the speed of SRAM with the data retention of flash memory. Operating at 3.3V, this memory chip offers virtually unlimited read/write endurance (10^14 cycles) and 10-year data retention, making it ideal for applications requiring frequent data updates and high reliability. With a fast 70ns access time and low power consumption, the FM28V020-SGTR is well-suited for industrial automation, metering, automotive systems, and IoT devices where fast writes and non-volatility are critical.

The FRAM device features a standard parallel interface, ensuring easy integration with microcontrollers and legacy systems. Unlike traditional EEPROM or flash memory, FRAM technology enables byte-level read/write operations without erase cycles, significantly improving system performance.
