Fabricated on an advanced 40nm CMOS low-power process technology, this device delivers 7,680 logic elements (Look-Up Tables) with 131,072 total on-chip RAM bits, housed within a compact 81-ball ucBGA (Ultra-thin Chip Ball Grid Array) package measuring just 4×4 mm. The FPGA operates from a narrow core supply voltage range of 1.14V to 1.26V and is rated for an industrial temperature range of -40°C to +100°C, ensuring reliable performance in demanding environmental conditions. With 63 general-purpose user I/O pins and 960 logic array blocks (LABs/CLBs), the ICE40LP8K-CM81 delivers the highest logic density within the iCE40 LP series while maintaining exceptional power efficiency. The device integrates Non-volatile Configuration Memory (NVCM) for instant-on operation, Embedded Block RAM (EBR), and up to two analog Phase-Locked Loops (PLLs) for flexible clock management.
