The AT24C32D-SSHM-T is a 32-Kilobit (4K x 8) serial Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM) from Microchip Technology. It utilizes a 2-wire I2C-compatible serial interface for communication, operating at clock frequencies up to 1 MHz, which enables fast read and write operations with minimal pin usage. This device is designed for reliable, low-power storage of configuration data, calibration parameters, and identification information in a wide range of electronic systems. This EEPROM is organized as 4096 words of 8 bits each. It features a page write buffer of 32 bytes, allowing for faster write cycles by programming up to 32 bytes at a time. The device supports both hardware and software write protection to prevent accidental data modification. Key performance specifications include a write cycle time of 5 ms maximum, an endurance of 1,000,000 write cycles per byte, and a data retention period of 100 years.
