The ATMEGA48PA-AUR is a high-performance, low-power 8-bit AVR microcontroller from Microchip Technology, based on the advanced RISC architecture. It operates at a 

maximum frequency of 20 MHz and features 4KB of in-system self-programmable Flash memory, 512 bytes of SRAM, and 256 bytes of EEPROM for non-volatile data storage. 

Designed for cost-effective embedded control applications, it supports a wide operating voltage range from 1.8V to 5.5V, making it suitable for both battery-powered and 

line-powered systems. The device is housed in a compact 32-pin TQFP package and includes advanced peripherals such as two 8-bit timers/counters with PWM, one 16-bit 

timer/counter, a 10-bit ADC, and standard communication interfaces including USART, SPI, and I2C. Its robust architecture ensures high code efficiency, achieving throughputs 

approaching 1 MIPS per MHz, while its low-power consumption modes (Idle, ADC Noise Reduction, Power-save, Power-down, and Standby) enable extended battery life in 

portable applications .
