74HC245PW-Q100J octal bus transceiver 8 Bit 3-State Output

The 74HC245PW-Q100J from Nexperia is an automotive-grade, octal bus transceiver designed for asynchronous two-way communication between data buses, complying with the AEC-Q100 Grade 1 standard for reliable operation in harsh automotive environments. This 3-state device features eight bidirectional lines, each capable of transmitting data from the A bus to the B bus or vice versa, with the direction controlled by a single Direction (DIR) input. An Output Enable (OE) input disables all outputs, placing them in a high-impedance state to prevent bus contention. 

The device is built using Nexperia's advanced silicon-gate CMOS technology, achieving high speed with low power consumption. It features non-inverting outputs and balanced propagation delays. The inputs include Schmitt-trigger action on all inputs, which provides high noise immunity and allows for slow input transition rates. It can sink or source up to 6 mA of current per output pin. The bidirectional interface eliminates the need for separate transmitters and receivers.
