252M-51LFT is an IDT VersaClock series field-programmable dual-output spread-spectrum clock synthesizer IC. This timing IC integrates a high-performance analog PLL, dual independent CMOS clock output channels, programmable frequency dividers and internal spread-spectrum oscillation circuits, eliminating the need for extra discrete oscillators and external EMI filtering components on PCB, supporting supply voltage range from 2.375V to 3.465V for universal compatibility with 2.5V and 3.3V mainboard power rails, covering operating temperature range of 0°C to +70°C for commercial-grade consumer, computing and communication hardware.
This 252M-51LFT clock synthesizer delivers two synchronous or asynchronous independent clock outputs with adjustable spread-spectrum frequency dithering to cut electromagnetic radiation by up to 12dB without sacrificing signal timing accuracy, its internal low-phase-noise PLL architecture generates ultra-low jitter clock signals below 30ps peak-to-peak to guarantee reliable high-speed serial data transmission, the 8-SOIC narrow-body 3.90mm wide housing fits dense multi-layer PCB layouts and matches standard lead-free reflow soldering thermal profiles without special process adjustment, lead-free terminal plating removes toxic lead to meet export regulations for EU, US and Asian electronic markets.
