The CL10A476MR8NRNC is a general-purpose, surface-mount multilayer ceramic capacitor (MLCC) manufactured by Samsung Electro-Mechanics, designed to deliver high capacitance density in a compact 0603 (1608 metric) footprint. It provides a capacitance of 47 uF with a tolerance of ±20% (M), a rated DC voltage of 4.0 V, and uses the X5R dielectric, which maintains stable capacitance across a temperature range of -55°C to +85°C. 

This MLCC leverages a Class II X5R dielectric to achieve high volumetric efficiency, enabling 47 uF in a small 0603 case while offering typical low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and low equivalent series inductance (ESL) for effective decoupling and filtering. The nickel-barrier terminations with tin plating provide excellent solderability and resistance to thermal stress during reflow, supporting reliable board-level performance. Samsung labels this as a standard lineup device in mass production with 2T (low-ESL) construction, making it suitable for high-frequency noise suppression in power delivery networks. Additionally, X5R characteristics ensure limited capacitance variation with temperature, though designers should account for DC bias derating typical of high-K dielectrics in their application analysis.
