The TDA7498LTR is a high-performance dual BTL Class-D audio amplifier from STMicroelectronics, designed for home audio systems and active speaker applications with single power supply operation. It delivers 80W+80W output power at 10% THD with 6Ω load and 32V supply, or 70W+70W with 8Ω load and 34V supply, boasting 90% high efficiency to minimize power dissipation. Equipped with four selectable fixed gain settings (25.6dB, 31.6dB, 35.1dB, 37.6dB), differential inputs to reduce common-mode noise, and standby/mute functions, it features an exposed pad for easy heatsink mounting and is packaged in a 36-pin PowerSSO surface-mount package, ideal for high-power, compact audio designs.

Operating at a 14V-36V wide single supply voltage range, the TDA7498LTR operates reliably across -40°C to 85°C industrial temperature range, with a typical gain bandwidth of 400kHz and total harmonic distortion (THD) of 0.1% @ 6Ω, 1W. It integrates short-circuit and thermal overload protection for robust operation, supports external synchronization, and has differential input/output interfaces for stable signal transmission. Fully RoHS-compliant with matte tin lead finish, it features low power consumption and a 3.3V nominal regulator output for the power stage, ensuring stable performance in audio applications.
