Its integrated memory system includes 256 KB of main Flash, 32 KB of secondary Flash, and 8 KB of SRAM, supported by a Memory Management Unit (MMU) for efficient code and data handling. At its heart lies an 8032 core (fully 8051 instruction-set compatible) enhanced with 40 MHz operation. A key architectural feature is the dual-bank Flash memory, allowing one bank to execute code while the other is being reprogrammed, enabling true In-Application Programming (IAP) and wireless firmware updates. The integrated PSD module provides 3,000 gates of programmable logic, a dedicated 16-macrocell PLD for implementing custom state machines or glue logic, and 27 configurable I/O ports. The device includes a 10-bit, 8-channel ADC, two UARTs, an I2C interface, and multiple 16-bit timers/counters.
