BQ76200PWR Battery Protection FET Driver IC Multi-Chemistry 

The BQ76200PWR is a high-performance battery protection FET driver from Texas Instruments (TI), specifically designed to drive high-side NMOS transistors in lithium-ion (Li-Ion) and lithium-polymer (Li-POL) battery management systems (BMS). It serves as a critical interface between BMS controllers (such as TI BQ76940) and power FETs, providing independent digital enable control for charging and discharging circuits. Featuring a wide supply voltage range, low quiescent current, and robust drive capability, it ensures reliable switching of protection FETs, preventing overcurrent, short-circuit, overvoltage, and undervoltage damage to battery packs. 

Operating at a 4.5V-18V supply voltage range, the BQ76200PWR operates reliably across -40°C to 125°C industrial temperature range, suitable for harsh battery operating environments. It delivers a maximum source/sink current of 1.5A, enabling efficient driving of high-current NMOS FETs, with a typical propagation delay of 100ns for fast protection response. Equipped with undervoltage lockout (UVLO) and thermal shutdown protection, it ensures stable operation under voltage fluctuations and high-temperature conditions.
