LMX2316TMX/NOPB Ultra-Low-Noise PLL Frequency Synthesizer IC 1.2GHz

The LMX2316TMX/NOPB is a high-performance, ultra-low-noise phase-locked loop (PLL) frequency synthesizer from Texas Instruments (TI), designed for precision timing applications in wireless communication, radar, and test/measurement systems.  Built on TI's advanced PLLatium™ architecture, this device integrates a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO), phase frequency detector (PFD), charge pump, and fractional-N divider in a compact 16-pin TSSOP package (6.4mm x 5mm).  It supports frequency synthesis from 300MHz to 6GHz with a phase noise floor as low as -230dBc/Hz (normalized), making it ideal for demanding applications requiring minimal jitter and high spectral purity, such as 5G NR, satellite communication, and atomic clocks.  The LMX2316TMX/NOPB also features programmable output power (-16dBm to +5dBm) and fast settling time (<10μs), enabling rapid frequency hopping in software-defined radios (SDRs) and frequency-agile systems.
