OPA991QDBVRQ1 is a single-channel AEC-Q100 Grade 1 automotive operational amplifier from TI, supporting a wide supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 40 V with rail-to-rail input and output architecture, specified for -40°C to +125°C operating temperature to satisfy rigorous automotive electronic working conditions. This device delivers balanced DC precision and AC performance, featuring low offset voltage, low noise, high slew rate and robust EMI suppression, and supports multiplexer-friendly differential input close to supply rails, enabling flexible deployment as linear amplifier or open-loop comparator inside automotive signal conditioning loops. Packaged in compact SOT-23-5 form factor, it provides stable capacitive load driving capability and moderate quiescent current consumption, making it a versatile high-voltage general-purpose op amp for automotive sensing and control modules.

This automotive-qualified op amp fits extensive vehicle electronic systems including electric vehicle charging control pilot signal processing, battery management system voltage and current sensing, automotive sensor signal amplification, analog multiplexer signal buffering, PWM-to-DC conversion circuits, on-board diagnostic signal conditioning, body control module analog interfaces, motor drive monitoring circuits, and automotive lighting analog control units. It also serves as signal buffer, level shifter and low-side/high-side current sense amplifier for automotive infotainment and ADAS auxiliary analog circuits, and can be configured as voltage comparator for overvoltage and undervoltage fault detection within automotive power supply subsystems.
