It strictly adheres to the TIA/EIA-485A standard and features an extended common-mode voltage range of ±15V, ensuring reliable data integrity ovear long cable runs in noisy multi-point networks.

This transceiver is engineered for resilience and efficiency. Its ultra-low power consumption (standby current <1 µA) makes it suitable for battery-powered or energy-conscious devices, while the wide 3V to 5.5V supply range offers seamless compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V logic systems. To combat electromagnetic interference, the device incorporates low-emission switching profiles and a generous 30 mV receiver hysteresis, providing superior noise immunity against signal jitter in electrically noisy environments. System reliability is further bolstered by built-in fail-safe circuitry that guarantees a logic-high receiver output under open-circuit, short-circuit, or idle-bus conditions, preventing data errors.
