TLV320AIC3100IRHBT Audio Codec Chip

The TLV320AIC3100IRHBT is a low-power, highly integrated audio codec designed by Texas Instruments (TI) for portable and embedded audio applications. It combines a stereo 24-bit DAC (95 dB SNR) and a mono 24-bit ADC (91 dB SNR) with a mono Class-D speaker amplifier (2.5 W into 4Ω or 1.6 W into 8Ω), enabling high-fidelity audio playback and recording in compact systems. The device supports 8 kHz to 192 kHz sampling rates for both ADC and DAC paths, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of audio standards. Its built-in digital audio processing blocks (PRB) include programmable biquad/FIR filters, bass/treble/EQ adjustments, and a digital sine-wave generator for beep tones. The codec is controlled via I²C interface with register auto-increment functionality, simplifying configuration.
