The TPS60400DBVR is a high-efficiency, low-power charge pump voltage inverter manufactured by Texas Instruments.     Classified under power management ICs (PMICs) – voltage inverters, this device is designed to convert a positive input voltage into a regulated negative output voltage, featuring a fixed 1.5x voltage conversion ratio that delivers an output voltage of -VIN (with a typical output current capability of 40 mA). It integrates a fully integrated charge pump architecture with internal power switches, eliminating the need for external inductors and reducing overall bill-of-materials (BOM) cost, making it ideal for space-constrained designs.     Key functional features include a built-in soft-start circuit to minimize inrush current, over-temperature protection (OTP) to prevent device damage under extreme conditions, and a low-power shutdown mode that reduces supply current to less than 1 µA, optimizing energy efficiency for battery-powered devices.
