TPS65053RGER Multi-Channel Power Management IC

The TPS65053RGER is a high-integration multi-channel pmic from Texas Instruments, designed for low-power embedded systems requiring multiple regulated power supplies. It integrates 4 synchronous step-down DC-DC converters, 2 low-dropout regulators (LDOs), and a power-on reset (POR) circuit, supporting 4.5V-18V wide input voltage range. With programmable output voltages (0.8V-5V for DC-DCs, 1.2V-3.3V for LDOs), up to 3A output current per DC-DC, and high efficiency (up to 95%), it features I2C interface for flexible configuration and power sequencing. Packaged in a 24-lead QFN surface-mount package, it is ideal for compact, energy-efficient designs like FPGAs, MCUs, and portable embedded devices.

Operating at 4.5V-18V input voltage and -40°C to 85°C industrial temperature range, the TPS65053RGER has 3A maximum output current per DC-DC converter and 200mA per LDO. It offers 1% output voltage accuracy, 2.2MHz switching frequency to minimize external component size, and low quiescent current (100μA typical) for energy savings. Fully RoHS-compliant, it features overcurrent, overvoltage, and thermal shutdown protection, ensuring robust operation in harsh environments, while its synchronous rectification technology reduces power dissipation and improves overall efficiency.
