The UCC28713D is a high-efficiency, primary-side regulation (PSR) PWM controller manufactured by Texas Instruments, designed for isolated AC/DC flyback converters without requiring an optocoupler. Housed in a compact 7-pin SOIC package (tube packaging), it operates from 9V to 35V supply voltage and supports a wide industrial temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. As part of the UCC2871x family, it integrates a 700V high-voltage startup switch, enabling ultra-low standby power and efficient offline power supply operation.

This controller delivers constant-voltage (CV) and constant-current (CC) regulation with ±5% accuracy across line and load conditions, operating in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) with valley switching for high efficiency.
