TMC2209-LA-T Ultra-Silent Stepper Motor Driver UART 28-QFN

The TMC2209-LA-T is a high-performance, ultra-silent bipolar stepper motor driver IC from ADI Trinamic, engineered for precise motion control in noise-sensitive and space-constrained applications. Operating from a 4.75V to 29V supply, it drives two-phase stepper motors up to 2.8A peak (2A RMS) with integrated low RDSon (170mΩ) power MOSFETs. Housed in a compact 5x5mm 28-pin QFN package with an exposed thermal pad, it combines advanced StealthChop2™ silent operation, StallGuard4™ sensorless stall detection, and a flexible UART/Step/DIR interface. Fully optimized for high efficiency, reliability, and low heat generation, it supports -40°C to +125°C operation, making it ideal for industrial, consumer, and battery-powered designs requiring quiet, accurate motor control.
