Its core enhancement, the 1-T (single clock cycle) architecture, provides up to 10 times the speed of a standard 12-clock 8051 at the same crystal frequency. The chip integrates 32 KB of flash memory for program storage, 1 KB of SRAM, and an additional 1 KB of auxiliary RAM. Key peripherals include dual full-hardware UARTs for simultaneous serial communication, a watchdog timer, three 16-bit timers/counters, and a four-channel 10-bit PWM unit.
