Introducing the new MAX77950 and MAX77951 high-efficiency, high-current buck-boost regulators from Maxim Integrated. These compact, ultra-low power ICs deliver up to 3A of continuous output current from a single-inductor, dual-output design. With an input voltage range from 2.3V to 5.5V, the regulators offer a wide range of applications, including portable electronics, wearables, and IoT devices. The MAX77950 and MAX77951 feature integrated FETs with 95% efficiency, allowing for longer battery life and reduced heat dissipation. Additionally, the regulators include programmable input current limit and output current limit, thermal and overvoltage protection, and a low quiescent current of just 300nA, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Furthermore, the devices are offered in a compact, 20-bump, 0.4mm pitch, 2.29mm x 2.17mm wafer-level package (WLP), making them ideal for space-constrained designs.
